Hi! I’m Lexi Ray! I’m a 24-year-old sports photographer, videographer, graphic designer and social content creator based out of North East Florida.
I studied journalism and graphic design at Flagler College where I graduated in 2024. During my time there I worked with the athletics department as an intern photographing games, creating content for social media and running team accounts. As well as working as the Flagler College Gargoyle's photo editor.
I started working as a photographer when I was 16 photographing local equestrian events, but I have had a camera in my hand since I was 7.
Thanks to the skills I had developed, I secured an internship with Jacksonville Armada Football Club, where I worked with the communications coordinator creating content for the team at both home and away games. And now work for them as a social content creator.
In August of 2024, I accepted a position with First Coast News as a full time photojournalist. With this amazing company I have been able to creatively and visually tell stories that are important to our viewers.
When I’m not out taking pictures I enjoy riding and competing my horses. I have had the opportunity to go to amazing places to compete, my favorite being representing the United States in South Africa in 2023.
I love all animals! I have 4 dogs and 2 horses! My animals are basically my children and are spoiled as such. And occasionally become models for me.
Photography is my passion. I love the ability to freeze a moment in time to be remembered forever. Whether it’s sports, an event, or a portrait it all deserves to be remembered.
